This knife is from my Personal collection, I have accumulated over 100 GEC Knives over the years and have decided to list a few on my website.
This is an Amazing Congress by Great Eastern Cutlery/ Tidioute Cutlery with Rare “Looking Glass Grandma’s Kitchen Floor” ( 1 of Only 27 Pieces made in 2009)
The Model of this knife is #613409 ~ it has beautiful “Looking Glass Grandma’s Kitchen Floor” handles, and High Polished Bolsters. This particular example is Serial Number 24 from the first Factory Test Production Run
The 1095 High Carbon Steel blades have a high Satin Finish. All four blades are well centered and have crisp smooth action.
The Tang of the larger blade is marked 613409 – Tidioute Cutlery Trade Mark.
The Nickel Silver Bolsters have been contoured and polished.
However, the most striking aspect of this fine knife is the wonderful handle material.
Complete in the Original Storage Tube with Oil Wax Paper.
A wonderful knife that would be a welcome addition to any Slip Joint Collection
